
Tourist attractions Chitwan
The Chitwan National Park was the first national park in Nepal. It was founded in 1973 and achieved UNESCO World Heritage status in 1984. The park is home to at least 43 species of mammals including the King of the Jungle, the Bengal Tiger. Wild elephants can also be seen occasionally.
