
Tourist attractions Tromso
Capital of the Norwegian Arctic Circle and the second largest town in Lapland. Its main characteristic is that is not just composed of a single part of the peninsula, but encompasses various uninhabited islands. Nevertheless, the most popular is the city of the same name, home to the Arctic Cathedral, the Science Centre of Northern Norway and a place where you can enjoy any number of winter sports and water sports, such as take a tour in a husky-drawn sleigh or navigate the island of Tromso by kayak. One of the biggest tourist attractions is the reindeer racing, that takes place here. Not to mention the midnight sun, a period of 76 consecutive days of sun without sunset, between the months of May and July.
