Your adventure begins as you arrive in Norway’s vibrant capital, Oslo. After landing, use your Flytoget train ticket to enter the Flytoget terminal at the airport and take the train to the city centre.**

4th Day: Harstad - Svolvaer

Guides will share insights about what they see and keep an eye out for the Northern Lights along the way.  After about an hour, you’ll arrive at Full Steam. 6th Day: Svolvaer - Sortland - Harstad

7th Day: Harstad - Tromso

This morning, embark on a scenic ferry ride* from Harstad to Tromsø, keeping in mind that this is a public transportation service, so schedules may vary or be subject to cancellation without notice. Once you arrive in Tromsø, join your tour leader for an engaging walking tour of this vibrant city, rich in history and culture.

 

After that, you’ll have some free time to explore at your own pace or, depending on the season, join some exciting optional activities, like the aurora dinner cruise**, Arctic summer seafood cruise***, or cod tasting experience.**** Please note that the cod tasting experience, cannot be combined with any of the other optional activities offered on this day. Overnight stay in Tromso.

 

Total transfer distance:  approximately 3 hours by ferry (300 km).

 

*If the Harstad–Tromsø ferry does not operate in the morning, departure will be later in the day. As a result, arrival in Tromsø may be in the evening, and the walking tour will therefore take place at night.

Begin with the Cod Fisheries Trilogy, a guided tasting and storytelling experience where you’ll sample cod roe, learn about its origins, and explore the history of cod liver oil.


Continue through exhibitions dedicated to Sea Sami culture and traditions, the Arctic environment, and stunning photography of the Northern Lights. If the Harstad–Tromsø ferry does not operate in the morning, the departure will take place later in the day. This may result in arrival in Tromsø at night, and therefore the walking tour will be conducted in the evening. The experience concludes with the Seafarer’s Exhibition, showcasing maritime history through historic vessels and authentic artifacts.
