Gjakove, located in western Kosovo, stands out for its traditional atmosphere and the charming Çarshia e Madhe, one of the longest and oldest bazaars in the Balkans. Its cobbled streets and Ottoman-era buildings create an ideal setting to explore local crafts and regional cuisine. A fun fact is that the Gjakove bazaar was almost entirely rebuilt after the 1990s conflict, turning it into a symbol of resilience and cultural rebirth.
