Breakfast at the hotel. Depart by road to Mandawa today. En-route, pass through authentic villages and begin to discover some of the most rural parts of India. On arrival in Mandawa, take a walking tour through the atmospheric streets of the city to admire the amazing Havelis, mansions noted for their elaborate frescoes depicting images of British colonial rule. Overnight stay in Mandawa.
Breakfast at the hotel. Continue your journey into the Rajasthan Desert today as you depart by road through the arid lands leading to Bikaner, a major centre of trade during the 16th century. Arrive and get settled at the hotel. In the afternoon, visit the spectacular Junagarh Fort with its impressively decorated interiors, and end the day with a memorable Tuk-Tuk ride through the city's ancient bazaar. Overnight stay in Bikaner.
Breakfast at the hotel. Your journey takes you into the Thar Desert today as you travel towards the historic city of Jaisalmer. Watch the passing sands and arid landscapes until arriving in Jaisalmer, known for its incredible fort and yellow sandstone architecture, earning it the nickname of the 'Golden City'. Get settled at the hotel and enjoy the remainder of the day at your leisure. We recommend visiting the Thar Heritage Museum or the Maharaja's Palace for a taste of kingly splendor. Overnight stay in Jaisalmer.
Breakfast at the hotel. Set off on a city tour of Jaisalmer today. Discover the magical Gadisar Lake and explore the magnificent Jaisalmer Fort, from where you can enjoy impressive views of the city and the surrounding Thar Desert. Explore the historic centre, strolling through its narrow streets and admire the famous palatial houses such as Nathmal and Patwon. In the afternoon, take an excursion to the sand dunes of Sam where you can enjoy the beautiful sunset light. Overnight stay in Jaisalmer.
Breakfast at the hotel. Leave Jaisalmer behind as you head for the 'Blue City' of Jaisalmer. On arrival visit the impressive Mehrangarh Fort for a bird's eye view of the old city with its blue houses in an assortment of vibrant shades. Next, head to Jaswant Thada, an imposing marble cenotaph built by Maharaja Sardar Singh of Jodhpur State in 1899 in memory of his father, Maharaja Jaswant Singh II. It still serves as the cremation ground for the royal Rajput family today. Return to the hotel and enjoy the remainder of the day at your leisure. Overnight stay in Jodhpur.

As the capital and largest city in Rajasthan, it's home to some of the most emblematic architecture and sights in the region. It's nicknamed the 'Pink City' thanks to its rosy-hued buildings and monuments. Get settled at the hotel and enjoy the rest of the day at your leisure. We recommend a wander through Jaipur's bustling marketplaces to see the unique handicrafts and jewellery on offer. Overnight stay in Jaipur.
Breakfast at the hotel. Today you'll discover the magical Amber Fort! Along the way, make a photo stop at the legendary Hawa Mahal, better known as the 'Palace of the Winds', a symbol of Jaipur. Afterwards, continue the journey with a jeep ride to the Amber Fort. On arrival, visit the Hall of Victory and admire the incredible architecture of this historic fortress complex. Later, get to know the astronomical heritage of Jaipur at the Jantar Mantar Observatory, the largest marble observatory in the world! Overnight stay in Jaipur.
Breakfast at the hotel. Set off towards Agra, stopping along the route to visit Fatehpur Sikri, an impressive ghost town where the tomb of Salim Chisti, the Panch Mahal, is located. Arrive in Agra, the capital of the sultans and great Mughal emperors. Enjoy an unforgettable tour of the famous and spectacular Taj Mahal, one of The Seven Modern Wonders of the World. Soak up the views of this legendary mausoleum, a symbol of eternal and undying love, and snap a memorable photograph at Princess Diana's famous bench. Discover the moving story behind the monument and admire the intricate, decorative architecture. The remainder of the day is free at your leisure to explore Agra city at your own pace. Breakfast at the hotel. Begin the day with a visit to Agra Fort. This UNESCO World Heritage Site is home to the incredible Pearl Mosque, crafted entirely from white marble. After exploring the fort, transfer to the train station to catch the Kota Jan Shatabdi train to Ranthambore, home of the legendary Bengal tiger. After a scenic ride, arrive at Sawai Madhopur station and transfer to your hotel in Ranthambore, ready to discover the incredible wildlife of Ranthambore National Park the following morning. Dinner and overnight stay in Ranthambore.
Breakfast at the hotel. Set off on an exciting safari in Ranthambore National Park, undoubtedly one of the best tiger reserves in the country. Explore the wild, unspoilt landscapes and keep your eyes peeled for exotic wildlife such as tigers, leopards and crocodiles. Originally the hunting grounds of Indian royalty, today this beautiful park is home to a population of around 70 tigers. Stop for lunch before continuing your safari experience in the afternoon. After an action-packed day, return to the hotel for dinner. Overnight stay in Ranthambore.
Breakfast at the hotel. This morning, return to Delhi by road, traveling north through the landscapes of Rajasthan. On arrival, visit Raj Ghat, where legendary freedom leader Mahatma Gandhi was cremated. Afterwards, continue to the presidential residence, the Gateway of India monument and pay a visit to Humayun's Tomb, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and the final resting place of Mughal Emperor Humayun. End that day back at the hotel. Overnight stay in Delhi.

See the huge Jama Mosque and the downtown Sikh Temple with its golden dome before ending the tour at Lakshmi Narayan Temple, dedicated to the Hindu god, Vishnu.

* Due to the customs clearance rule of the government of India, if your flight calls at another city in India before arriving in Delhi, confirm at the departure desk in the UK/Ireland whether you should pick up your suitcase and pass customs control at the airport where the connection is made. Remember that if the flight stops in Mumbai you will need to pick up your luggage. Keep in mind that normally this whole process takes approximately 60 minutes.
** Ranthambore National Park remains closed from July to September for visitors due to the rainy season.
