1st Day: UK/Ireland - Zurich

Ready to discover the spectacular cities and landscapes of Switzerland? Arrive at your departure airport, ready to catch a flight to Zurich.* Touch down in Zurich, famous as a global centre of finance on the north shore of beautiful Lake Zurich. Transfer to the hotel and get settled in. Later in the day meet a local guide and set off on a 2- hour walking tour of Zurich, accompanied by a professional guide. Explore the atmospheric Old Town, see the 12th-century Grossmunster cathedral and stroll down bustling Bahnhofstrasse. Discover Paradeplatz, the 11th-century Fraumunster Church and stroll along the river banks at Limmatquai. After soaking up the views of glistening Lake Zurich return to the hotel and enjoy the remainder of the day at your leisure. Overnight stay in Zurich.

2nd Day: Zurich - Lucerne - Engelberg - Interlaken

Breakfast at the hotel. Depart to Lucerne, an enchanting Swiss city filled with medieval architecture. Take in the views of Lake Lucerne and see St. Peter's Chapel, the Jesuit Church, the Lion Monument and the Chapel Bridge on a 2-hour city tour accompanied by a professional guide, Europe's oldest surviving wooden bridge. Afterwards, continue to Engelberg, a traditional Swiss town, home to Mount Titlis. Take the rotating Rotair cablecar up to the peak for stunning views from 3000 metres above sea level. After taking in the scenery, continue to Interlaken, a traditional resort town in the mountainous Bernese Oberland region. Get settled at the hotel and enjoy the breathtaking mountain scenery and charming alpine architecture. Overnight stay in Interlaken.

3rd Day: Interlaken - Lake Brienz - Mt. Brienzer Rothorn - Interlaken

Breakfast at the hotel. Spend the day discovering the sights of Interlaken, in the heart of the Swiss Alps. After some leisure time in the town, enjoy a scenic boat trip on Lake Brienz, set amid the spectacular mountain scenery of the Bernese Oberland. Afterwards, continue your mountain adventure with a train ride to Mount Brienzer Rothorn onboard Switzerland's oldest steam train. In use since 1891, this cogwheel steam train weaves its way to the top of the mountain, past Alpine meadows with beautiful views of Lake Brienz from above. At the end of the day, you can choose to visit Thun or return to the hotel. Overnight stay in Interlaken. 



4th Day: Interlaken - Bern - Gruyeres - Montreux

After breakfast at the hotel, set off for the Swiss capital of Bern, a small city known for its medieval old town. Upon arrival, enjoy a 2-hour city tour through the old town with a professional guide. Admire the Zytglogge medieval clock tower, Spitalgasse Street and Barenplatz. Stroll through Marktgasse Street, home to nine astonishing fountains with unique sculptures. Next, head to the medieval town of Gruyeres, famous for its authentic Swiss cheese and chocolate! A foodie paradise, visit the La Maison du Gruyere cheese factory and then Maison Cailler an authentic Swiss chocolatier with plenty of opportunities to taste the delicious products! Enjoy some time at your leisure in charming Gruyeres before continuing to Montreux, a resort town nestled on the shore of Lake Geneva. Overnight stay in Montreux.

5th Day: Montreux - Vevey - Lausanne - Geneva

Breakfast at the hotel. Awake to the beautiful Swiss Riviera before heading out to discover the charms of the Lake Geneva Region. Begin by exploring the town of Montreux and Chillon Castle, located at the foot of the snow-covered Alps. Continue to Vevey to visit the Charlie Chaplin Museum before heading to Lausanne, home to the beautiful Notre Dame Cathedral, the Olympic Museum and the 16th-century Place de la Palud. End the day in Geneva, the second-largest city in Switzerland, in the shadow of the famous Mont Blanc. Get settled at the hotel and enjoy an evening at your leisure. Overnight stay in Geneva.

6th Day: Geneva - Yverdon-Les-Bains - Zurich

Breakfast at the hotel. Start the day with a 2-hour sightseeing tour of Geneva with a professional guide to soak up the charms of the Old Town and see the iconic Flower Clock the Jet d'Eau Fountain and St. Pierre Cathedral. Next, transfer to Yverdon Les Bains, in the heart of the Jura Mountains. This peaceful town is the perfect place to spend a relaxing afternoon, soaking up the views of the Thiele River and strolling through its quiet old town. In the evening, return to Zurich. Overnight stay in Zurich. 

7th Day: Zurich - Rhine Falls - Stein am Rhein - Zurich

Breakfast at the hotel. Visit Europe's largest waterfall today: the Rhine Falls! One of the most captivating natural sights in Switzerland, these powerful falls are truly a sight to behold. Afterwards, visit the charming town of Stein am Rhein, known for its colourful painted facades before returning to Zurich. Enjoy the rest of the day at your leisure, shopping on upmarket Bahnhofstrasse or taking in the views of Lake Zurich from the lakeside promenade. Overnight stay in Zurich. 

8th Day: Zurich - UK/Ireland

Breakfast at the hotel.* Bid farewell to the charming culture and unforgettable landscapes of Switzerland. At the indicated time, transfer to the airport for your return flight back to the UK/Ireland. Arrive in the UK/Ireland and end of your trip.

* Depending on the return flight schedule and the hotel breakfast service, you may not be able to enjoy the included breakfast on the last day.
