1st Day: US - Night on board

Arrive at your US departure airport ready to board a flight to Berlin. Night on board.*

* If either your outbound or inbound flights depart in the early hours (before 4:00 a.m.) you must arrive at the airport the night before the indicated departure day.

2nd Day: Berlin

Arrive to Berlin and self-transfer* to the hotel. Spend the remainder of the day at your leisure and feel free to get out and about to discover Berlin at your own pace! Berlin is known for its vibrant nightlife, creative atmosphere and historic landmarks. Overnight stay in Berlin.

3rd Day: Berlin

Tuck into a hearty German breakfast at the hotel and set off on an exciting walking tour of East and West Berlin, to uncover the history and sights of the capital! Admire the majestic Brandenburg Gate, visit the poignant Holocaust Memorial and stroll along leafy Unter den Linden Avenue. See Friedrichstrasse shopping street, the charming Gendarmenmarkt square and discover the neoclassical architecture of Museum Island. Head to East Berlin to trace the turbulent history of the city at Checkpoint Charlie and see the fragmented remains of the Berlin Wall, noticing the contrasts between the different sides of the city. See Hauptbahnhof station and the idyllic Tiergarten Park. Potsdamer Platz shows you a modern side of the city before you spend the remainder of the day at your leisure. It's time for a well-deserved German beer after a day of sightseeing! Overnight stay in Berlin.

4th Day: Berlin

Breakfast at the hotel. Enjoy a day exploring Berlin at your leisure. Why not visit the brilliant cultural treasures at Museum Island or spend the day exploring the flower gardens of the Tiergarten. Overnight stay in Berlin.

5th Day: Berlin - Krakow

Breakfast at the hotel. At the indicated time, self-transfer to the airport for a flight to Krakow. Arrive in Krakow and self-transfer to the hotel.* Known for its beautiful medieval architecture and a center of Polish culture, arts and politics, Krakow is one of the most popular cities in the country and is filled with cobblestoned streets and historic buildings. Overnight stay in Krakow.

6th Day: Krakow

Breakfast at the hotel. Set off on a walking tour of Krakow this morning, for a great overview of this historic city's most emblematic sights. Visit the UNESCO World Heritage-listed Old Town and the historic Jewish quarter of Kazimierz, among the best-preserved in Europe. See Central Europe's second-oldest university and explore the city's most charming streets and squares. The rest of the day is free to explore Krakow at your leisure, perhaps enjoying Polish cuisine and discovering Krakow's beautiful architecture. Overnight stay in Krakow.

7th Day: Krakow

Breakfast at the hotel. Spend a day exploring Krakow at your leisure. Discover the city's quirky markets or enjoy a stroll along the riverbank if the weather allows. Alternatively, we recommend an optional excursion to Auschwitz-Birkenau Memorial or Wieliczka Salt Mine. Overnight stay in Krakow.

* Optional Half-Day Excursion to Auschwitz-Birkenau Memorial: Visit Auschwitz-Birkenau, the largest concentration camp, built by the Nazis in 1940. A global symbol of the Holocaust, embark on a poignant tour to understand more about the atrocities of this tragic era in history. 
 
* Optional Wieliczka Salt Mine Half-Day Tour: Transfer from Krakow to Wieliczka the most beautiful and the oldest operating salt mine in the world (UNESCO Heritage). For over 700 years it was a source of Polish fortune. Today Wieliczka is an amazing place, home to magnificent chapels, charming underground lakes and original tools and equipment. During this tour, see a number of excavated chambers across 3 levels adorned with beautiful sculptures made of salt as well as a salt museum.

8th Day: Krakow - Warsaw

Breakfast at the hotel. Continue your discovery of Poland today as you transfer to the railway station to catch a train to Warsaw, the capital of Poland. Arrive, transfer to the hotel and spend the remainder of the day exploring this vibrant capital at your leisure. Warsaw is home to a vast array of architecture, showcasing its turbulent history. Gothic cathedrals stand side-by-side with Soviet-era blocks and modern skyscrapers. Overnight stay in Warsaw.

9th Day: Warsaw

Breakfast at the hotel. Set off on a Warsaw city tour this morning (entrance fees not included). Explore the UNESCO-protected Old Town, where you can admire the beautiful Royal Castle and Castle Square, home of the Polish monarchs between the 16th and 18th centuries. See the old Jewish quarter and follow the Royal Route to the spacious gardens of Royal Park. Finish the overview of this fascinating city by exploring the historic Praga district. The remainder of the day is free to soak up the atmosphere of Warsaw at your leisure. Alternatively, we recommend an optional excursion to Wilanow Palace.* Overnight stay in Warsaw.

*Optional Wilanow Palace & Park Excursion: Set off on a tour of the beautiful Baroque-era Wilanow Palace. See the interior of the palace, home to the luxurious chambers of King Jan III Sobieski and his wife, Queen Maria, and marvel at the priceless antiquities on display.
