Land in Helsinki for a quick stop, then hop on the train to Rovaniemi, Finnish Lapland’s magical city. Visit Santa’s village, meet reindeer and huskies, zoom across frozen rivers and snow-covered forests on a snowmobile, and hunt for the Northern Lights. After soaking up the charm of this otherworldly region, return to Helsinki and explore with a 24-hour pass before heading home.
1st Day: Canada - Night on board
Arrive at your departure airport to catch a flight to Helsinki*. Night on board.
*Important: If your outbound flight leaves at dawn (before 04:00 a.m.), you must arrive at the airport the night before the selected departure date.
2nd Day: Helsinki
Arrive in Helsinki, Finland’s coastal capital and design hub—your Northern European adventure is officially underway. Self-transfer* to your hotel and check in. The rest of the day is yours to begin exploring the city at your own pace. Visit a museum or take a tour of the charming Market Square at the South Harbor, where you can discover local food traditions. Overnight stay in helsinki.

5th Day: Helsinki - Rovaniemi
Breakfast at the hotel. Today, you’ll catch a train from the city center to reach Rovaniemi, the main city in Finland’s magical Lapland region.
Upon arriving in Rovaniemi, use your Flybus ticket at the train station to transfer to the charming city center. Once you reach the hotel, you can drop off your bags and check in.
After that, you have the day free to explore Rovaniemi at your own pace. Stroll through its picturesque streets, browse local shops, and soak up the enchanting festive atmosphere that fills every corner. You can also choose between half-board* or explore the city’s various dining options. Overnight stay in Rovaniemi.

6th Day: Rovaniemi
Breakfast at the hotel. This morning, you'll have a meet and greet with your guide before starting the first excursion. Prepare for a unique experience in the magical village of Eternal Christmas, where you'll visit Santa Claus's house. Stroll through the charming little houses of the village and don't miss the chance to take a photo with him.
The adventure continues with two exciting typical excursions of the region. In the morning, you'll have the chance to get up close with Santa's reindeer, and in the afternoon, enjoy another unforgettable experience meeting the charming huskies. At the end of the day, return to the hotel. In the evening, a bus excursion awaits to search for the elusive Northern Lights. The expert guide will ensure you find the best spot to view the dancing lights of the north, if conditions allow. Overnight stay in Rovaniemi.

7th Day: Rovaniemi
Breakfast at the hotel. This morning, embark on an exciting snowmobile excursion through the frozen landscapes of Lapland. You'll drive across frozen rivers and snow-covered forests, enjoying stunning and unique views of this magical region. Operating a snowmobile is straightforward, and our guides will provide all the basic safety instructions to ensure an unforgettable experience. If there isn’t enough snow, you will take a quad bike tour instead.
Upon returning to the hotel, you'll have the afternoon free to relax or explore the charming centre of Rovaniemi at your own pace. We also recommend our optional Northern Lights excursion.* Overnight stay in Rovaniemi.
Note about the snowmobile excursion: Join an exhilarating snowmobile adventure, designed for those aged 18 and over. Teenagers aged 14 to 17 and those without a driving licence can accompany the driver on the snowmobile, while children under 14 will enjoy the ride in a sled pulled by the snowmobile. If snow conditions or weather prevent the excursion, you will have the chance to explore Lapland’s stunning forests on a quad bike safari.
Note about the quad bike excursion: Immerse yourself in pristine nature with panoramic views of the lush forest during our quad bike safari. Before setting off, our guides will give detailed instructions for a safe experience. Insurance coverage of up to €1000 is included. Please note that to drive the quad bike, you must be 18 or older and have a valid driving licence.

The local provider has established a strict no-smoking policy within any of their vehicles. If smoking occurs, certain stops will be arranged. Smoking is also prohibited in the accommodations included in the booking. Travellers who breach this policy may be fined by the provider.
Due to the festive Christmas season, the December 22 departure includes two mandatory dinners: the Christmas Eve Dinner (December 24) and the Christmas Dinner (December 25). Both will be buffet-style and will include an aperitif, two glasses of wine (12 cl each) for adults, and two non-alcoholic beverages for children.

**The Flybus shuttle transfer makes various stops. To reach Hotel Aakenus, you need to walk 600 metres from the assigned stop. For other accommodations, it is 200 metres. The Flybuss operates roughly between 9:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m.
You will receive the voucher for the Flybus shuttle transfer before departure.

****A valid driving licence is required to operate a snowmobile. The snowmobile driver will be responsible for any potential damage to the snowmobile during use, with insurance covering a self-liability amount of €1000. Minors will ride behind the driver, and children under 14 will be in a sled pulled by the snowmobile.
If the snowmobile activity cannot be carried out due to a lack of snow, a Quad Experience will be offered instead. This adventure takes you through the beautiful forests of Lapland, 30 km from the city and away from other tourist groups. It is ideal for experiencing pristine nature and enjoying panoramic views. Before departure, our guide will provide instructions for driving the quad, so no previous experience is needed.
