What to see in Cuba
This was the third town to be conquered by the Spanish. It is located in the centre of the island of Cuba and historically was one of the most important towns in the Caribbean. Sugar production played a great role, in filling Trinidad with mansions and palaces which today Cubans show off with pride. This is one of the best preserved colonial cities in the Americas, gaining it recognition as as UNESCO World Heritage site. Its history is covered in many museums all over the world.
