Ready to explore the historic cities and vibrant culture of Spain? Arrive at your US departure airport, ready for a flight to Madrid.* Night on board.
* If either your outbound or inbound flights depart in the early hours (before 4:00 a.m.) you must arrive at the airport the night before the indicated departure day.
Touch down in Madrid and meet your driver at the airport. Transfer to the hotel and spend the rest of the day exploring at your own pace. Madrid is well-known for its brilliant gastronomic scene and lively nightlife, so be sure to get out after dark to experience the amazing atmosphere of the capital. Overnight stay in Madrid.
Breakfast at the hotel. Begin the day with a panoramic tour of Madrid. Uncover the medieval origins of the city in Barrio de la Morería, famed for its historic monuments, such as the Muslim-era city walls. Drive through the Baroque-era heart of the city, known for its magnificent boulevards and grand buildings. See the Plaza Mayor, Puerta del Sol, the Royal Palace and both Cibeles and Neptuno Fountain. Pass by the incredible Prado Museum before heading to the more contemporary parts of the city, such as the Gran Via shopping street and the upmarket Salamanca neighborhood. Finally, continue past Parque del Oeste to see the emblematic Las Ventas Bullring and the Santiago Bernabéu Football Stadium. The remainder of the day is free to enjoy the delights of the city at your leisure. Madrid has a number of rooftop bars and restaurants, so perhaps head to one of these to enjoy spectacular views of the city as the sunsets. Overnight stay in Madrid.
Breakfast at the hotel. Today, your journey takes you to the south of the country and to the historic cities of Cordoba and Seville. Along the way, make a stop in Puerto Lápice, a village famous for its connection to Don Quixote. Continue through the Despeñaperros canyon and cross the border into the region of Andalusia before arriving in Cordoba. Enjoy a city tour to uncover Cordoba's Islamic heritage as you discover its ancient Islamic heritage and famous mosques. Stroll through the narrow streets of the Jewish Quarter and soak up the unique atmosphere. In the afternoon, continue to Seville, a journey of approximately 2 hours. Seville is well known for its legendary tapas and Flamenco dancing. Transfer to the hotel and enjoy the remainder of the day at your leisure. Dinner and overnight stay in Seville.
Breakfast at the hotel. After breakfast, a local expert guides you through a panoramic tour of Seville featuring the Cathedral and its famous Giralda Bell Tower. Discover the popular neighborhood of Santa Cruz, Maria Luisa Park and the beautiful Plaza de España. In the afternoon, we recommend a stroll through the historic city center and enjoying Seville's fine tapas bars at your leisure. Alternatively, take an optional Flamenco Show.* Dinner and overnight stay in Seville.

Breakfast at the hotel. Continue your journey through Andalusia today as you head east, through landscapes of endless olive trees, to Granada. Arrive in this ancient city, known as the last Moorish stronghold in Spain, and begin a tour of the Alhambra Complex, including the beautiful Generalife Gardens. Be inspired by the Islamic architecture and incredible views of the surrounding city. Afterwards, get settled at the hotel and enjoy the remainder of the day exploring at your leisure. We recommend an optional Zambra Flamenco Show.* Dinner and overnight stay in Granada.
* Optional Zambra Flamenco Show: Head to the 'Flamenco Temple' housed within an intimate cave setting to enjoy an evening of authentic Flamenco dance and soul-stirring music in the heart of Granada's Albacin Quarter. Discover an array of rhythmic styles and experience a journey through the ever-evolving art of Flamenco.
Breakfast at the hotel. You're headed north today, following a route along the Mediterranean coast. Make a stop in the city of Murcia, on the banks of the fertile Segura River, before continuing along the Costa Blanca towards Alicante, the second-largest city in the Valencian Community. Finally, head north to Valencia, a cosmopolitan city on the Mediterranean, famed for its romantic plazas, modern Science & Arts Architectural Complex and its beautiful beaches. It's also the home of the traditional Spanish dish: paella. Check-in at the hotel and enjoy the remainder of the day at your leisure. Take a stroll through the leafy Turia Park, the main artery of the city or go for a leisurely walk along the seafront where you can stop at the numerous bars for a drink. Be sure to try the famous Valencian drink Agua de Valencia, a potent orange-based cocktail. Overnight stay in Valencia.
Breakfast at the hotel. Begin the day with a city tour of Valencia. Drive through the atmospheric old town, home to historic buildings, before passing by the enormous Turia Park, located in the old river bed and the main hub of the city, where locals get together to socialise, exercise and relax. End the tour admiring the impressive City of Science and Arts Complex, a collection of six space-age buildings. In the early afternoon, head north along the coast towards Barcelona in Catalonia, a journey of around 3.5 hours, with a stop in Tarragona to see the Roman ruins of Tarraco. Arrive in Barcelona, a vibrant city known for its artistic heritage and the amazing architecture of Gaudi. Get settled at the hotel and enjoy the evening at your leisure, exploring the historic streets of the Barrio Gothic or strolling along the seafront in the old fishing neighborhood of Barceloneta. Overnight stay in Barcelona.
Breakfast at the hotel. Discover the diverse history of Barcelona as you begin the day with a morning city tour. Pass along the wide, leafy avenues of the Eixample neighborhood to see the modernist architecture of Gaudi, including La Pedrera and Casa Mila. Head up to the hills of Montjuïc to enjoy spectacular views of the old port and to see the impressive Olympic Village. Other highlights include the famous Columbus Monument and the modern Olympic Port. The afternoon is free at your leisure to explore Barcelona at your own pace. Why not hit the shops on Passeig de Gracia or explore some of the city's incredible art galleries and museums? Overnight stay in Barcelona.
Breakfast at the hotel. Leave the city behind as you head southwest to Zaragoza, the capital of the Aragon region. Sat on the banks of the Ebro River, Zaragoza is famed for its beautiful Baroque-era architecture, which includes the 17th-century Basilica of Our Lady Pilar. After some free time in Zaragoza, continue your journey inland to Madrid, a drive of around 3 hours. Arrive back in the capital and get settled at the hotel, ready to enjoy your final evening in Spain at your leisure. Overnight stay in Madrid.
Breakfast at the hotel. Head to the airport today to catch a flight to Marrakech, in Morocco. Arrive in Marrakech and transfer to the hotel. Rest of the day free to start discovering this wonderful city. A walk through the Medina allows you to enjoy the best of its architecture and the unique, colourful atmosphere of the city. Dinner and overnight stay in Marrakech. *

Breakfast at the hotel. Today, embark on an eye-opening tour of the wonders of Marrakech, starting with the Minaret of the Koutoubia, from the 13th century and the spiritual centre of Marrakech. Visit the Palace of the Bahia, the residence of the old vizir, and known for its intricate tile and wood carving decoration. Discover how spices and argan oil are made in a local school before you head to the Jamaa el Fna square home to the bustling souks, so typical of the city and full of fruit vendors and stalls selling wicker baskets, traditional sweets and authentic souvenirs. At nightfall, the square looks magical as it is lit was thousands of lights. Dinner and overnight stay in Marrakech.
Breakfast at the hotel. Set off by road towards iconic Casablanca, and enjoy a city tour where you can marvel at the Art Deco buildings and the Dar El Baida White House before visiting the Mohammed V Square and the upmarket Anfa district. Leave in the direction of Rabat to visit the Kasbah of the Oudayas, a citadel that is located to the north of the city. This fortress retains its Arab character of narrow alleys with white and blue façades that lead to viewpoints from which there are incredible views of the Atlantic coast. After the visit, travel to Meknes to see the exterior of the Mausoleum of Moulay Ismail, one of the few mosques in the country that can be accessed by non-Muslims. Inside, notice the delicate decoration and beautiful tiles. Finally, head to the city of Fez. Arrive and transfer to the hotel. Dinner and overnight stay in Fez.
Breakfast at the riad. Enjoy a full day tour of Fez, considered the centre of Islam in Morocco. It is the intellectual and religious capital of the country. Begin with a panoramic view from one of the hills surrounding the city, then visit the bronze doors of the Royal Palace and walk into the medina to visit Medersas, the centre of Koranic studies. Explore the workshops in the artisan neighbourhoods. Walk along the broad Boulevard of Mohamed V and stroll through the endless streets of the world's largest medina. After the visit, return to the hotel. Dinner and overnight stay in Fez.
Breakfast at the hotel. Depart through the gentle mountains of the Middle Atlas, until you reach the city of Midelt, known for its apple cultivation. Continue along a beautiful route and view Berber life first hand. Arrive in Erfoud, at the edge of the great Sahara desert. Tonight, you have the opportunity to spend the night in a Berber Jaima Camp of your choice in the dunes of the Sahara.* Dinner and overnight stay in Erfoud.
* Optional Night in the Sahara Dunes. Take a 4x4 all-terrain vehicle to reach the high dunes of Merzouga. Admire the magical sunset and spend the night in a typical Berber Jaima Camp, with a traditional dinner included. You will stay in either Sahara Stars Camp, Oasis Luxury Camp or Royal Oasis Camp, depending on the availability on the day.
Please note: If you would like to book this experience you must reserve it in advance, up to 30 days before departure, as places are limited. You will not be able to sleep in the hotel if you choose this optional night at the camp.
Breakfast at the hotel. Today, visit the captivating Gorges of Todgha, and the Dades Valley, to experience the natural wonders of this unique landscape. Pass by ancient fortresses and lush oases before arriving at the small Berber town of Kalaat M'Gouna, famous for its roses and perfumes. Continue to Ouarzazate, a desert city and enjoy dinner and an overnight stay at the hotel.
Breakfast at the hotel. Embark on a visit to the Kasbah of Taourirt, the former residence of the Pacha Glaoui called the Lord of the Atlas Region. Continue to the majestic Kasbah of Ait Benhaddou, declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. This Kasbah, dotted with crenellated towers, is considered one of the most beautiful in the country and has often been a filming location for movies. In the afternoon, depart across the High Atlas mountains en route to Marrakech. Arrive in Marrakech, and spend the rest of the day exploring at your leisure. Dinner and overnight stay in Marrakech.
Breakfast at the riad. At the indicated time, transfer to the airport in Marrakech to catch a flight back to the US. Arrive in the US and end your trip.
