Breakfast at the hotel. Start your adventure by taking part in a guided city tour —everything from the “Sanhattan” skyscrapers to the old-world colonial architecture in a captivating fusion of old meets new.

Begin the tour at the hotel. Walk down the city’s main avenue, visit the cobblestoned streets of Lastarría, known for its colonial mansions, get lost in the beauty of Santa Lucia Hill and stop by a panoramic viewpoint to gaze across Santiago and learn more about the city's history. From there, head over to the Plaza de Armas, home to the Cathedral of Santiago (the former national congress), the imposing government house La Moneda and the Plaza de la Constitución.

Finally, visit the Central Market, a key gastronomic point of Santiago, and stop by a lapis lazuli store. These local handicrafts make a great gift to bring home. Return to your hotel and overnight stay in Santiago de Chile.

Breakfast at the hotel. Today, set off on a full-day discovery of this magical island. Follow in the footsteps of the first King of the island, Ariki Hotu Matua. Visit several archeological sites located in the southern part of the island: Akahanga, Rano Raraku and Ahu Tongariki. These are key foundational places in the Rapa Nui culture, believed to be the place where the island's original settlers arrived. Close the first part of the tour with time for lunch.

Resume the tour visiting Te Pito Kura, known as the navel of the world. This Moai is the biggest sculpture ever to have been lifted and transported from the Rano Raraku quarry. Our last steps are reserved for Anakena, said to be the beach where the first king of Easter Island disembarked. End the tour here, relaxing and enjoying its white sands and crystal clear waters. Overnight on Easter Island.

Breakfast at the hotel. Today, discover the cliffs of the Rano Kau volcano and the ceremonial village of Orongo, where the BirdMan competition (Tangata – manu) used to be celebrated. This fresh water crater has a privileged view of the Pacific Ocean and of the interior of the volcano, and the spiritual village has a path that takes visitors past restored houses, and to its cave art and petroglyphs. Next, head out towards Vinapu. This mysterious ceremonial center has big slabs built out of basalt  (volcanic rock) that fit perfectly on the back of its ahu. End the tour with an open invitation to learn  more about the roots of the local people.

Why not take advantage of a free afternoon by going on an optional excursion to Ahu Akivi?* Overnight stay on Easter Island.

*Optional Ahu Akivi excursion: Departing from Hanga Roa, this tour visits Ahu Akivi, Ahu Vinapu, Puna Pau Quarry, and The Te Pahu Cavern. Ahu Akivi’s 7-Moai platform faces the equinoctial rising sun with each statue at a height of around 16 feet and a weight of around 18 tons. According to folklore, the seven statues represent the seven young explorers who left Hiva, a legendary Polynesian homeland.
