After breakfast, depart Paris by coach towards the Loire Valley and its wonders of the Renaissance period. First stop is the capital of the Centre-Val de Loire region, Orleans. The history of this lovely city on the banks of the Loire River is inseparably bound with the history of Joan of Arc. While exploring the city independently, try not to miss the 13th century Sainte-Croix Cathedral and the Musée des Beaux-Arts, displaying around 700 artworks. After lunch, the tour continues with a visit to The Chambord Estate * one of the most emblematic castle examples of Renaissance architecture in France. Following this visit, transfer to the historic city of Tours. Overnight stay in Tours.

After Breakfast at the hotel, explore the magnificent Castle of Chenonceau*. The two-story gallery stands upon a graceful arched bridge that crosses the Cher River which gives the impression that the castle is floating on water. Also known as "The Ladies’ Castle", it was initially constructed in 1513. Equalling the beauty of the interior, the Château's Renaissance French Gardens are perfectly landscaped with decorative pools and flower beds and are an important destination for garden lovers from all over the world. Former property of the Prince of Talleyrand, built in 1540 by order of Jacques d'Estampe on an old feudal building. Castle open from 14th of March 2021 to 11th novembre 2021.
Breakfast at the hotel. Depart from Tours heading towards the world-renowned Mont Saint Michel, a Unesco World Heritage site. The car park stands approximately 1.5 miles away from the island. On leaving the coach, head for the Place des Navettes, where shuttle buses called Passeurs transfer to the mount itself. The Mount was consecrated to St-Michel from the year 708. The Benedictine Abbey presents a grand panorama of the medieval architecture from the XI-XVI centuries. Spend some time exploring the village built on the slopes in the shadow of the fortifications. Overnight in the surrounding area.
After breakfast, the tour takes in some of the WW-II landing beaches of the Allied Forces and also a visit to the Memorial de Caen *, a museum and war memorial commemorating World War II and the Battle for Caen. Overall the museum is dedicated to the history of the twentieth century, mainly focusing on the fragility of peace. Overnight stay in Caen.

After breakfast, depart Caen and enjoy a panoramic tour of the neighbouring town of Lisieux which is famous for its history as a pilgrimage destination. Next learn more about the best food and drink that this rich region of France has to offer, starting with a visit to the Village du Fromager. See all stages of cheese production and and enjoy tasting the different types of cheese on offer. After the visit, head to Honfleur in time for a lunch break. This small city and harbour dates back to the Vikings invasion in the 11th century. After a couple of hours exploring the city, continue eastwards until reaching Paris. Overnight stay in Paris.
Breakfast at the hotel. At the indicated time, transfer to Paris airport for a flight to Madrid. Arrive in Madrid, the enigmatic capital city of Spain, known for its fast-paced atmosphere, classical architecture and beautiful plazas and parks. Transfer to the hotel and spend the rest of the day exploring at your own pace. Towards the end of the day, we provide transfers to the Egyptian Debod temple, Plaza de España and Gran Via*. Overnight stay in Madrid.

Breakfast at the hotel. The morning starts with a comprehensive tour through the centre of Madrid including Paseo del Prado, Cibeles, Neptuno, the Gate of Alcalá, Plaza de Colón and Plaza Mayor. Visit Retiro Park, an oasis in the city centre, where you will see the lake and the Glass Palace. Continue to visit Las Ventas Bullring. Enjoy the rest of the afternoon at leisure. At sunset, you will have available a transfer to Plaza de Oriente, opposite the Royal Palace, an elegant and bustling area with many restaurants. Overnight stay in Madrid.
Breakfast at the hotel. Today, travel to the eternal city of Granada, the last stronghold of the Moorish Kingdom, where their influence endured up until 1492. On the way to this stunning city, we will stop in Puerto Lápice, a village evoking the figure of Don Quixote. Arrive in Granada and visit the world-famous Alhambra complex and Generalife Gardens. Admire the intricate Moorish architecture of this former palace and fortress and learn about its history. Lunch included. In the evening you will visit the Albaicín district of Granada, a World Heritage site along with the Alhambra, where you can enjoy dinner in the narrow winding streets of this captivating Medieval Moorish quarter. Overnight stay in Granada.
Breakfast at the hotel. Today, continue your journey south setting off to the much-loved Costa del Sol, one of the countries most popular holiday destinations. Arrive in Malaga and explore the historic centre, with its cathedral and the Picasso Museum. Continue the day along the coastal motorway with beautiful views of the Mediterranean. Stopping in Puerto Banús, in Marbella, a pretty resort known as a playground for Europe’s rich and famous people. In the afternoon you will continue through the hills until you arrive in the mountain-top town of Ronda, known for its Celtic origins and marvellous views of the surrounding mountains and valleys. Continue to Seville. Arrive at the hotel and overnight stay in Seville.
Breakfast at the hotel. After breakfast, a local expert guides you through a scenic visit of Seville featuring the Cathedral and its famous Giralda bell tower, the banks of the Guadalquivir River, popular neighbourhoods of Santa Cruz and Triana and the beautiful Plaza de España. After the tour, start a boat trip along the river Guadalquivir, enjoying the panoramic views from the boat. On the afternoon, visit the historic city centre area and enjoy Seville's fine cuisine. Overnight stay in Seville.
Breakfast at the hotel. Leave Seville following the valley of the Guadalquivir river and arrive in Cordoba. With a local guide, visit its great Cathedral-Mosque and Cordoba's Synagogue. Take a stroll in the old district with its famous patios of flowers and have some free time to discover its flowered alleys. Continue towards the Castilian lands and stop at Consuegra, with its 12 giant windmills next to the castle. Continue to Madrid, arrive and settle in. Overnight stay in Madrid.
