Best time to visit the United Arab Emirates

The best time to travel to the United Arab Emirates is definitely not during summer as the thermometer at this time of year can reach 40ºC. In addition, due to its geographical position and climate, humidity is very high so the heat can be quite exhausting.

When to travel to the United Arab Emirates

To know when to travel to the United Arab Emirates, you need to bear in mind that we are facing an arid, subtropical climate.  This means that the weather is hot and very humid in the coastal area and dry and very hot inland. From May to October, the temperatures are very high, reaching in excess of 48ºC.

During winter, the temperature stays around 21ºC with January and March being the coldest months. Another fact to bear in mind is that, at the beginning of summer, the country receives the desert winds that come from the northwest and bring a lot of sand with them.

We could conclude that the best time to travel to the United Arab Emirates is between November and April. During these months, the temperatures are milder, so you can enjoy sightseeing more comfortably.

In terms of the tourist season, travelers tend to prefer visiting between November and March, so these months coincide with the high season. Between April and May, and also in the month of October, can be considered the mid-season, so it is a good time to travel and find cheaper prices. Finally, the low season, with hardly any tourists, is between June and September.

So, let’s look at when to travel to the United Arab Emirates and visit the different regions.
