What to see in Cuba
The capital of Cuba, and most populated city in the country. Havana was conquered by Diego Velazquez de Cuellar in 1516, one of the seven Cuban towns to be conquered by the Spanish. Don't miss the old town of Havana, and the chance to lose yourself in its streets of colonial architecture. The Morro Castle is a must-see, as are the Castillo de San Salvador de la Punta and the Castillo de la Real Fuerza. Learn the country’s history in the Museum of the Revolution, and enjoy the incredible sea view from the Malecón esplanade.
