1st Day: US - Night on board

Ready to experience the dramatic scenery and breathtaking landscapes of New Zealand? Arrive at your US departure airport, ready to board a flight to Auckland. Night on board. 

2nd Day: Night on board

Continue your journey to New Zealand.

Due to the time difference, you will lose a day on your outward journey but will gain it on your return journey. You are not in flight for two days.

3rd Day: Auckland

Touch down in Auckland, situated on the North Island and one of the largest cities in New Zealand. Take a shared transfer to your hotel and, once settled, enjoy the remainder of the day to get to know this vibrant city at your leisure.* Auckland is located between two coastlines and is home to a variety of beautiful beaches. At the center of the city stands the Sky Tower, whilst a stroll along Viaduct Harbor is the perfect way to end the day, admiring the superyachts and stopping for a drink at one of the local bars or cafes. 4th Day: Auckland

Breakfast at the hotel. Relish a free day in Auckland to explore the city's most emblematic sights. Why not take in the views of the city from the top of the Sky Tower or pay a visit to the fantastic Auckland Art Gallery Toi o Tāmaki to admire almost 1000 years of national and international artwork. Alternatively, we recommend an optional Best of Both World Tour to discover a combination of city and wilderness sights.* Overnight stay in Auckland.

7th Day: Rotorua

Experience the healing properties of Rotorua's unique geothermal activity today with a Hell's Gate Thermal Experience! Travel to Hell's Gate, Rotorua's most active geothermal reserve. For more than 700 years Hell's Gate, or Tikitere as it is known to the Māori, has been a special place of wellness. It is home to a medicinal sulphur lake, curative waters and the mineral-rich muds of Hurutini. Once used by Māori warriors to heal their battle-scarred bodies, visitors can use the nutrient-rich waters and mud to ease inflammation, unwind their minds and rejuvenate their skin. 10th Day: Queenstown

Breakfast at the hotel. Spend the day exploring the landscapes of Queenstown at your leisure. The region is known for its adventure sports as well as its excellent wine production and vineyards. Don't miss out on the opportunity to visit one of New Zealand's most astounding natural wonders on our optional Milford Sound Nature Cruise.* Overnight stay in Queenstown.

*Optional Milford Sound Nature Cruise with Picnic Lunch: Travel along the coast of Lake Wakatipu, soaking up the views of the countryside before arriving at incredible Milford Sound, within the Fiordland National Park. From here, board a boat for a relaxing cruise along the tranquil waters of the country's most famous and beautiful fiord. Cruise along the full length of the fiord and enjoy informative commentary along the way. Transfer to the hotel by coach and enjoy the rest of the day relaxing after your journey or exploring the city.* A drink in one of the cafes and bars by the harbour waterfront is the perfect way to begin your holiday! 13th Day: Sydney
