What type of accommodations can I expect?
Hotel standards vary by destination. While city hotels offer modern comforts, lodges in national parks prioritize immersion in nature, sometimes with more basic amenities.

Yes, there are mandatory fees for the Galapagos National Park ($200 for adults and $100 for children) and the Transit Control Card ($20 per person), payable in cash. Tipping is appreciated but not mandatory.
When is the best time to visit?
Ecuador is a year-round destination. The Galapagos Islands are warm and humid from December to May, while June to November brings drier weather and cooler waters.
Are there any health requirements?
No vaccines are required, but some (such as yellow fever) are recommended. We advise consulting your doctor before traveling. Travelers must have valid health insurance for entry into Ecuador.
Is this trip accessible for travelers with mobility concerns?
