Arrive at Antananarivo airport where your guide will be waiting to meet and greet you. From here, transfer to your hotel for check-in*. Breakfast at the hotel. Drive for 9 hours approximately (340 km) from Andasibe to make your way to Antsirabe, also known as the ‘city of water’, a popular spa town, famous for its thermal springs, colourful rickshaws and French colonial architecture.
En route, you will briefly stop to visit the Peyrieras ‘Madagascar Exotique’ wildlife reserve, home to a vast variety of fauna, including frogs, chameleons and geckos. If you’re lucky, you will also be able to spot the world’s largest butterfly as well as an array of different types of snakes and bats! From here, continue your journey to Antsirabe. Once you have arrived to your destination, check-in to your hotel and overnight stay in Antsirabe.
