1st Day: US - Night on board
Arrive at your US departure airport ready to board a flight to Amman. Night on board.*

2nd Day: Amman
Arrive at Amman Airport and transfer to your hotel.* Amman is the modern capital of Jordan but possesses dozens of ancient historical sites, all set in the north of Jordan on a hillside. Dinner and overnight stay in Amman.

3rd Day: Amman - Gerasa - Ajloun - Amman
Breakfast at the hotel. Enjoy a panoramic visit to the city of Amman. See its most important avenues: The Ciudadela, the urban centre and the Roman Theater. Continue north to Jerash or Gerasa, one of the cities of the Decapolis. See the Arc de Triomphe, the Oval Square, the Cardo, the Colonnade, the Temple of Aphrodite and finally, the Roman Theater, which has wonderful acoustics. Then visit Ajlun Castle, a fortress built in 1185 and rebuilt in the 13th century by the Mamluks after their destruction by the Mongols. This castle from the time of the Crusaders is located on the top of a mountain, where magnificent views are pondered. Return to Amman. Dinner and overnight stay in Amman.

4th Day: Amman - Desert Castles - Dead Sea - Amman
Breakfast at the hotel. Head to the east of the city to visit some of the most representative "Castles of the desert", buildings from the seventh to the eleventh centuries, which were used as caravanserais, as resting pavilions or as military forts for the defence of the territory. Then head to the Dead Sea, the lowest point of the earth with the highest rate of salinity in the world. Enjoy a bath to take advantage of its healing properties and discover the curious sensation of floating. Return to Amman. Dinner and overnight stay in Amman.

5th Day: Amman - Madaba - Monte Nebo - Shobak Castle - Petra
Breakfast at the hotel. Depart to Madaba to visit the Church of St. George, where a mosaic dating back to the 6th-century is located and represents the oldest known map of the Holy Land. Continue towards Mount Nebo, the geographical point from where Moses first spotted the Promised Land. Enjoy a wonderful panoramic view of the Jordan Valley and the Dead Sea and visit the remains of the Byzantine Church with its beautiful mosaics. Then head to Shobak Castle, with views of the exterior, which is located on the side of a mountain. It was built by King Baudouin I of Jerusalem to watch the route between Egypt and Damascus.
