Explore the archaeological complex of Chinchero, an ancient agricultural and livestock center of the Tahuantinsuyo, and admire the Nuestra Señora de Monserrat church, an example of the fusion between Andean and Spanish cultures. From here, walk to the Koricancha Temple, an impressive ancient Inca palace, in honour of the Sun God. Today, a Dominican church stands on the site. Finally, visit the lively San Blas neighbourhood, known for its artists, shops and artisan workshops. Spend the remainder of the day at your leisure, soaking up the atmosphere of the city and sampling the local cuisine. Overnight stay in Cuzco.

What once was one of the most marginalized and violent neighborhoods in the city has undergone an amazing transformation and it is now synonymous with music, art, graffiti, dance and gastronomy.

You will also visit the colorful Guatapé, famous for its old church, and reservoir. Enjoy a typical Colombian lunch on the shores before taking a boat trip.

Breakfast at the hotel*. Today you will travel by plane to Cartagena, you will arrive at Rafael Nuñez airport, and be transferred to the hotel. You will then be free to explore this new city at your leisure. Overnight stay in Cartagena.

Breakfast at the hotel. Today you should be prepared for a tour in Chiva through Bocagrande, Castillogrande and Manga, the main neighborhoods of Cartagena. This will lead to the fort of Castillo de San Felipe, a colonial military engineering marvel. Your tour will end inside the walled sector, where you can admire its narrow streets and flower decorated balconies.

In the afternoon, you will board the Sibarita Express, a sunset cruise which will let you admire the sunset fall on the beautiful city from the water, cocktail in hand. Overnight stay in Cartagena.

*Optional tour to the Isla del Encanto in Baru: Travel through Rosario Islands National Park’s pristine waters by speedboat (approximately 1 hour), and enjoy a relaxing paradise beach day with chairs and lunch included. Head back to Cartagena by boat and transfer to the hotel.
