*Optional full-day excursion to Cinque Terre: Travel by coach (87 miles, approx. 2 hours) to the stunning Cinque Terre with a local English-speaking assistant who will share insights along the way. This coastal region is known for its picturesque villages perched on steep cliffs between the sea and vineyards.

The experience includes the 5 Terre Card, allowing unlimited train travel between La Spezia and Levanto, so you can explore the villages at your own pace. Visit highlights such as Monterosso, an ancient fishing village known as "the pearl of the Cinque Terre," as well as Manarola and Riomaggiore, famous for their narrow streets and scenic harbors.

This coastal area boasts picturesque villages, perched between sea and land, clinging to steep cliffs surrounded by hills and vineyards. From April to October, a boat ride* is also included, offering a unique perspective of the coastline and unforgettable views of the villages from the water. Continue to Siena, the historic city famed for its ochre-colored architecture. You’ll have free time to explore at your own pace. Stroll through the iconic Piazza del Campo, known for the Palio horse race, marvel at the striking Siena Cathedral, and if you’re up to it, climb the Torre del Mangia for sweeping views. There will also be time for lunch (not included), giving you the chance to taste more authentic Tuscan cuisine.

From this point onward, the journey becomes more flexible and independent, allowing you to enjoy a more relaxed travel experience at your own pace. The group of travelers joining each activity may vary throughout the journey
