The landscape is punctuated by quintas (wine estates) and charming villages, where traditional stone houses blend seamlessly with the natural contours of the land.

Stop for a quick visit and photo opportunities in Amarante, on-route to Regua. Travel through the stunning landscape of rolling vineyards, arriving at your destination around lunchtime.

Continue to the famous city of Pinhão, visit the train station and behold its beautiful tiles. Next, enjoy a wonderful wine tasting in a vineyard in the Douro Valley, learn about Port wine and its production as you sip on the delectable local beverage.

At the end of the day, return to Porto by road with wonderful views of the classified world heritage site of the Douro Valley. Overnight stay in Porto.
