Important notes
**Accommodation:
Hotel rooms in Japan are usually equipped with one double bed. If you require twin beds, please let us know at the time of booking and we will try our best to accommodate your request, although it cannot always be guaranteed.
Please note that hotel rooms in Japan are generally smaller than those in other countries. Rooms are often compact, and space may feel limited when an extra bed is added. Please also note that double beds in Japanese hotels are not always the standard Western size and can sometimes be less wide.
Children ages 2–11 will be provided with an extra bed. This may be a sofa bed or a single bed (approx. 85–196 cm). Triple rooms will also have an extra bed of the same size.
Quad rooms are available for families with children. In most cases, this means four single beds of the same size, though arrangements may vary depending on the hotel.
*Transportation:
You will receive the final documentation of the train transfers 15 days before departure.
Tokyo to Kyoto: You'll receive exact train details before departure. Trains usually leave Tokyo Station between 9:00–10:00 AM and arrive in Kyoto around noon. Specific seat requests (aisle/window) can't be guaranteed.
Kyoto to Hiroshima and Hiroshima to Osaka: You'll receive a 5-day Kansai–Hiroshima Pass, which covers all travel in the region, including these routes. You can choose your train times when exchanging the pass. Ticket exchange instructions will be shared before departure.
Baggage allowance on the trains is the same as the international flight allowance - there is no weight restriction.
Meet & Greet:
Please note that this tour is independent and does not include a Meet & Greet service by default. This can, however, be added as an optional service for an extra cost.
For those passengers who book a trip without international flights through Exoticca, you will need to share your flight details with us with at least 30 days before arrival to Japan if you want to book the Meet & Greet Service.
For tours and activities, please ensure to arrive at the meeting points with plenty of time. We recommend being there at least 15 minutes before the starting time. Please note that late arrivals cannot be accommodated.
Offer conditions
Remember to download your e-ticket to confirm the times of your flights and to complete online check-in using the airline's website, or directly at the check-in desk at the airport.
Accommodation at the hotels is as indicated. In the event of any changes to accommodation, they will always be of the same or a higher category. The category of hotels is not standardized across all countries in the world. For this reason, the criteria may differ depending on the destination country's own standards.
In the case of adverse weather conditions, for safety reasons or for any other reasons deemed appropriate, the order and duration of the excursions included in the itinerary may be changed or canceled without prior notice.
If you have reduced mobility, require the use of a wheelchair, or you would prefer this tour to be a private experience for you and your group, you must contact our Experts at +1 888-488-0592 before booking to ensure that your needs can be met.
While on the road, it is highly unlikely that the vehicle will be equipped with wifi or bathroom facilities, though rest stops will be made for long trips. We recommend purchasing a new SIM card at the airport or placing an e-SIM before travel to guarantee internet connection.
