Begin at the serene Sultan’s Palace (Keraton), then stroll over to Taman Sari Water Castle, the former royal garden and bathing complex noted for its pools and underground tunnels. Next, explore local craftsmanship with a visit to a local batik factory and a silver workshop to learn about traditional dyeing and metal-working techniques.

The day’s highlight is Borobudur, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and the world’s largest Buddhist temple, celebrated for its monumental design, expansive terraces, and intricate stone carvings. After touring the site, enjoy an included lunch at a local restaurant.

Breakfast at the hotel. Today, visit the Prambanan temples. The main shrine—known as “Loro Jonggrang” or the Slender Virgin—is widely regarded as Java’s most elegant and impressive candi. This 9th-century Hindu complex honors the Trimurti—God as Creator (Brahma), Preserver (Vishnu), and Destroyer (Shiva). A UNESCO World Heritage Site, it’s the largest Hindu temple in Indonesia and one of Southeast Asia’s grandest, featuring soaring, pointed architecture topped by a 47-meter central tower.

Breakfast at the hotel. At the scheduled time, transfer to the airport for your flight to the next destination. Once you land at Denpasar Airport, your driver will meet you and escort you to your hotel for check-in, where you can relax and settle in. Overnight stay in Ubud.

Breakfast at the hotel. Today, you’ll explore the Balinese countryside. Begin in Batubulan, renowned for its intricate stone carvings and the dramatic Barong dance, which symbolizes the eternal battle between good and evil. Next, head to Mas, where master woodcarvers bring timber to life.

Continue on to Goa Gajah, a UNESCO World Heritage site famed for its striking cave sculptures, then soak in the sweeping vistas of Mount Batur from Kintamani. You’ll also wander through the picturesque Tegalalang rice terraces before visiting Celuk, which is celebrated for its gold and silver artisans.

Next, visit Taman Ayun Temple in Mengwi, built in the early 17th century for the Prince of Tabanan. Its tiered shrines rise from a wide moat, symbolizing the ocean kingdom.
