Breakfast at the hotel. We will visit the Temple of Heaven, where emperors of the Ming and Qing dynasties once performed ceremonies to worship the gods. If conditions allow, the guide will show us an area of the park where locals practice tai chi or dance.

Later, we will visit a traditional Chinese medicine center to learn about different treatments and the use of herbal remedies that have been used for thousands of years.

Afterward, we will head to the train station to board the high-speed train to Shanghai. Upon arrival, the guide will accompany us to the hotel for check-in. Overnight stay in Shanghai.

Breakfast at the hotel. We will start the day with a walking tour along Nanjing Road to enjoy Shanghai’s most modern views. Next, we will visit a silk factory to learn about the production process of this traditional product.

To wrap up, we will stroll through the historic district’s bazaars near Yuyuan Garden, perfect for shopping for souvenirs and sampling local flavors. In the afternoon, you may continue exploring the city with an optional excursion that includes museums and traditional districts.* If you wish, we also recommend attending a Chinese acrobatics show**, a unique local entertainment experience. *Optional visit to Shanghai Museum and Pudong: This tour includes a visit to the Shanghai Museum, famous for its extensive collection of cultural artifacts. Afterwards, we will visit the Pudong district with admission included to the Jin Mao Tower.

**Optional Chinese acrobatic show: Experience one of the world’s oldest performing arts and enjoy an evening filled with culture and entertainment.

Breakfast at the hotel. Today you will enjoy your last free day in this fascinating city to continue discovering everything Shanghai has to offer. For this day, we suggest a cultural excursion to Suzhou*, one of China’s most iconic cities.

To end the day, we recommend a nighttime cruise** to admire the city lights from the river. Overnight stay in Shanghai.

*Optional full-day trip to Suzhou with boat tour: Travel to Suzhou, one of China’s most famous historic and cultural cities, known as the “Venice of the East.” First, visit the Lingering Garden, showcasing the Chinese skill in blending art, nature, and architecture. Then, explore the Suzhou Museum, noted for its modern architecture and antiques collection. Later, enjoy a boat ride along the Pingjiang River in the Old Town. Before returning to Shanghai, see Wumen Bridge and the Prince Zhong Mansion.

**Optional Huangpu River night cruise: Take in the city skyline from the comfort of a river cruise and enjoy a night with spectacular views of Shanghai.

Breakfast at the hotel.* It’s time to bring this extraordinary adventure to an end. At the scheduled time, transfer to the airport to catch a flight to Hong Kong. 

Touch down in Hong Kong, a vibrant metropolis where east-meets-west and the skyscraper-studded skyline enthralls all who see it! Transfer to the hotel for check-in and spend the remainder of the day relaxing at the hotel or taking a stroll along the beautiful bay area.

Alternatively, take part in our optional night tour of the city**, the perfect way for you to become acquainted with your new surroundings. Overnight stay in Hong Kong.

*Breakfast on the last day will depend on your return flight schedule and the hotel’s breakfast service.

**Optional Hong Kong Night Tour: Take part in a fully-guided sightseeing tour of Hong Kong where you will discover the city’s most emblematic sites, including the dazzling Temple street, the Avenue of Stars, modeled after the Hollywood Walk of Fame, Tsim Sha Tsui Promenade before ending your excursion witnessing the Symphony of Lights, an unforgettable nightly spectacle.

Breakfast at the hotel. Today, embark on a half-day tour of Hong Kong that will take you to some of the city’s top tourist attractions, including; the city’s tallest hill, Victoria Peak, Repulse Bay, Aberdeen and Sampan Ride.

Next, head over to Stanley Market to visit an array of different shops selling everything from silk garments, to art, to Chinese costume jewelry, souvenirs and more. After the tour, return to your hotel and enjoy the rest of the day at your leisure. Overnight stay in Hong Kong.

Breakfast at the hotel. Enjoy the entire day at your leisure. Perhaps you can take this time to go sample the local cuisine, explore the bustling markets, and check out the stunning skyline views. Alternatively, take part in one of our two optional full day excursions; either to Macau* or to Lantau Island.** Overnight stay in Hong Kong.

*Optional full day excursion to Macau: take part in this tour of the city of Macau, once a Portuguese territory and today considered the ‘Las Vegas of Asia’. Stop by some of the most emblematic sights, including: A-Ma Temple, Penha Hill, Ruins of St. Paul, Leal Senado Square and Casino Venetian.

**Optional full day excursion to Lantau Island: experience the world-renowned NP 360, a bicable gondola lift on Lantau Island where you will take an incredible cable car journey to the culturally-themed Ngong Ping Village and visit the city’s biggest statue of Buddha.
