Tourist attractions Kibale National Park
Located in southern Uganda, Kibale Forest is a protected natural area known to contain the largest number of primates in the world. In total, there are more than 12 different species among which is the popular colony of chimpanzees. They can be found both in the trees, in the vicinity of the many lakes, on the leafy paths or hanging around the numerous lodges.
The Kibale National Park is characterized by ecological tourism, so hotels are humble cabins that blend in with the environment. Established as a reserve in 1932, this park is linked to the forest of the Queen Elizabeth National Park.
