1. Marché aux Puces de Sant Ouen-Clignancourt, Paris
This vintage paradise is called “the flea market” and it hides anything a good buyer might need. Here, you can find more than 3,000 stalls of all kinds, arranged in 12 different markets that sell jewelry, clothing, old books … You can expect cheap clothing stalls in Porte de Clignancourt or old records somewhere else. It opens on Saturdays, Sundays, and Mondays. Wear comfy shoes. You will need them.
2. A Trace of Madrid: El Rastro
El Rastro is located in the neighborhoods of Embajadores and La Latina, and it opens every Sunday and all the holidays. AYou will find more than 3,500 stalls, including military paraphernalia, pets and clothes. When you are tired of strolling around, stop in a bar nearby for a beer and some tapas.
3. Fiera Antiquaria of Arezzo, Italy
The first Saturday and Sunday of every month antique lovers have a date. You can find antique furniture, paintings, silver and porcelain items, and even musical instruments or Roman remains. This Fiera Antiquaria has been celebrated for more than 500 years. This makes it one of the oldest secondhand markets in Europe.
4. Portobello Road Market, London
It is one of the most famous flea markets in the world. You’ll remember it for movies like Notting Hill. It has more than 1,000 shops. You will find both food and new and trendy items. You can go on weekdays, but on Saturdays, there are also antique stalls and secondhand items. Very well accompanied by huge crowds of tourists.
5. Daytona Flea & Farmers Market, USA
Daytona is a city in Florida that is well known for its famous career and for being the setting for Ecuadorian university trips. Its flea market is the largest in the State, and there you can find all kinds of objects and even organic products. It opens every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. If you enjoy diverse secondhand markets, this one is for you. This is just a hint of all you can find if you travel to North America.

In Berlin recycling is fashionable. And this also applies to clothes, furniture and all kinds of objects. Throughout the weekend dozens of markets, or “flohmarkt” in German, take the streets of Berlin. From the most famous such as the Mauerpark, that includes a karaoke, through the Boxhagener Platz in Friedrichshain, the Maybachufer canal in Neukölln with its musical performances, the antiquities of Straße des 17 Juni in Tiergarten; to the most unknown, such as the Turkish S-Bahn market in Neukölln, with mountains of costly clothing; or the Rathaus Schoneberg, where you can find a variety of second-hand books and home decoration. No doubt Berlin is one of the best cities to go in search and capture of your new vintage wardrobe.
7.- Amsterdam Waterlooplain
Probably the most popular market in Amsterdam among the young and trendy. There you will find all kinds of objects and bargains (mostly second hand and vintage style) as well as local food and products. It is the typical outdoor neighborhood flea market, just in the square that gives it its name. It is the oldest market in Amsterdam and very interesting to visit (it resembles the secondhand markets of London). The Waterlooplein market in Amsterdam is very busy and can be visited from Monday to Friday from 09:00 to 17:30 and on Saturdays from 8.30 to 17.30. You can get there with tram 1, 2, 5 and 13 by going down at the Magna Plaza stop. It is a fairly central place and you can also walk from Dam Square (15 min.)
